Addison Mill provides the Glastonbury area with the first upscale rental living community in its long and rich history. Addison Mill Apartments sits on a three-acre oasis of tranquility for those seeking the ultimate in apartment living in pristine natural surroundings with proximity to all amenities in one of Connecticut's most progressive towns.

Entrepreneur Addison Clark opened his Glastonbury Knitting Co. mill in the early 19th century, producing wool long john underwear first for Union soldiers and, later, GIs in World War I. After changing hands several times, the mill by the late 1950s was being used primarily for storage. In the last decade, the mill had fallen heavily into disrepair. The worst sections were demolished to make way for an extensive renovation of the rest of the building into a community of upscale apartments.
