JKR Team Volunteers for Spooktacular
On October 17, a JKR Team (Julie Forejt, Marissa McMurtrie and Lauren Ulmer) and a diverse group of professionals and students volunteered to design and build facades for the Sixth Annual Spooktacular Charette. The Spooktacular Event provides a safe environment for children to participate in Halloween festivities including dressing in their favorite costumes, arts and crafts, getting their face painted and trick-or-treating in an originally designed neighborhood. This event teams the Associate Committee of AIA Philadelphia with The Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CcTC) to help children safely enjoy Halloween.
