The project team recognized the unique potential for creating a mixed use retail and residential center to serve two user groups: members of the East Falls community and the visitors to Fairmount Park. The building consists of six levels: below-grade parking, ground floor retail, and four upper floors of residential units. The design intent is to create a vibrant, pedestrian friendly zone that encourages activity and interaction reconnecting the community of East Falls to the Schuylkill River.
